What does work mean to you?

Work forms a huge part of my life and very early on, I recognise the need for it to be meaningful and rewarding. That’s one of the reasons I found my way into healthcare. I believe it’s also one of the ways we use the gifts that’s been given to us and helps fulfill our purpose in life.

I enjoy connecting with people and also learning with people. There isn’t really a one-sized fits all approach in our work even though we have specific diagnoses and it’s really in that process of working with people that we learn more about how things work. That’s when you really have to challenge all notions and think out of the box to help people get better.

Yin-yang. Ultimately it’s a balance between hard work outs and gentle ones… I think it’s innately tied to our ability to regulate our nervous system.

Most of my physical activity is currently centered around spending time with pup, Harper! I take her on long walks and bike rides and we do agility classes once a week. I practise yoga/ breathwork daily.

Roger Federer. Overall great guy but there’s a lot of grace in his game. He makes tennis look beautiful.

I have in the past few years really enjoyed time in solitude and stillness. When I say I do yoga daily, sometimes it’s really just me laying on the mat and listening to my breath.

I love a good plate of aglio olio with a side of protein and king oyster mushrooms.
